    Ralph Gonzalez grew up as a fight fan after having a number of family members involved in the sport as boxers in the amateur and professional ranks. Raised in North San Diego County, Ca, attended San Diego State, graduated from the University Of Southern California with a B.A. in English and attended graduate school at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where he took studies in their M.F.A. program. After college graduation and a baby on the way, he started working with much success as a corporate headhunter while pursuing his graduate degree. Was one of the first internet boxing writers with fightnews.com starting in 2000 where he interviewed many of the boxing world's brightest stars. He's married with two boys and currently working on several writing projects.

    Jim Murphy has been a visible presence on the Internet since roughly the same time that Al Gore invented it. He launched his first website entitled "The Prophet's Place" in 1995 and quickly became a popular resource for information on cigars, spirits, wine and "the good life". Not long after, he launched Net Prophet Sports. His sports handicapping services became well known for their success and he found himself on a short list of the best serious sports handicapping minds in the world. More recently, he's left the handicapping profession to follow his passion as a fight sport journalist. His MMA and boxing articles have appeared on The Sweet Science, The Epic Carnival, BetWWX, Bettorsworld, Fantasy Insider Online, on205th and many others. Jim lives in Portland, Oregon with his Jack Russell Terriers Alfie and Beatrice.

    Glenn Rockwell is a fight sport journalist from Columbia, South Carolina. First a fighter, then a journalist he has practiced Muay Thai in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Judo in Columbia. His writing interest include covering the growth of MMA as a sport, and technical rules and approaches of competing in mixed martial arts. With a degree in International Studies from the University of South Carolina he is ready to conquer the world. More recently, Glenn has been awarded the title "The NEW future of fight sport journalism".     Grady has been involved in the world of Professional Wrestling and MMA for over a decade. He was the producer of the award winning TV show T.W.I.W. (This Week in Wrestling) in Lafayette, LA as well as a founding member of AAW (All Access Wrestling). He was also a manager known as "Slick Willie Vegas" and former 6 time Cruiserweight Champion of the now defunct K.W.P. Grady has interviewed or worked with the likes of Bret Hart, Mankind, Booker T, AJ Styles, Dusty Rhodes, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and many more legends of the sport. His knowledge goes beyond just the business aspect of the sport, and has been a fan since the days of Mid-South, WCCW, and Calgary Stampede Wrestling. He's also a big fan of New Japan wrestling. In MMA, Grady began in the early days of UFC, and especially in PRIDE FC. Grady trains in MMA in Lafayette, LA and is associated with the F.C.B. crew (Full Contact Brawlers) who are resonsible for sponsoring and training up and coming fighters in his local area. Grady's favorite fighters are George St. Pierre, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Kazushi Sakuraba, Igor Vovchanchyn, Fedor, and Alan Belcher.

    "Malakai the Big Samoan" is the pen name of Malakai Faafia. A native of Southern California, Malakai is a lifelong fight fan who became interested in combat sports as a kid watching High Chief Peter Mavia, Afa and Sika Anoa'i and other Samoan pro wrestlers. A lawyer by profession, he's scaled back his practice to devote more time to pursuing a more respectable trade as a fight journalist. Malakai lives in Tampa, Florida though he's planning to return to the west coast within the next year.

    Mike Wilkerson, hailing from the suburbs of St. Louis, MO, comes to the Savage Science by way of The 2GuysTalking Podcast Network Mike, a professional Podcaster. Talk Show Host, Cartoonist and Graphic Designer, brings not only a one-of-a-kind zeal for entertainment review, but a love of MMA - something his wife Gloria introduced him to in 2007.

    Mike is a master of conveying his thoughts, loves, and hates about - well, everything, and brings that skill to supplement the talented writing staff at The Savage Science.     Yael Grauer has been working with independent print media since she
    started self-publishing at the age of twelve. She's has taught
    packed-room workshops on media bias, propaganda and media literacy and
    done research for Corporate Watch UK. Yael's also proofread both books
    and magazines and spent two years serving as a National Correspondent
    for the now-defunct Blue Jean Magazine.

    Yael is a graduate of Shimer College, the Great Books School of the
    Midwest. She lives in Tucson, Arizona where she teaches middle school
    Language Arts, trains in Brazilian jiu jitsu and grows all kinds of
    organic veggies.
