Jim Murphy ... at The Savage Science
Jim Murphy has been a visible presence on the Internet since roughly the same time that Al Gore invented it. He launched his first website entitled "The Prophet's Place" in 1995 and quickly became a popular resource for information on cigars, spirits, wine and "the good life". Not long after, he launched Net Prophet Sports. His sports handicapping services became well known for their success and he found himself on a short list of the best serious sports handicapping minds in the world. More recently, he's left the handicapping profession to follow his passion as a fight sport journalist. His MMA and boxing articles have appeared on The Sweet Science, The Epic Carnival, BetWWX, Bettorsworld, Fantasy Insider Online, on205th and many others. Jim lives in Portland, Oregon with his Jack Russell Terriers Alfie and Beatrice.
